Coop couch play for consoles - Console Discussion - Diablo 2 Resurrected Forums Coop couch play for consoles Hrodulf-1736 July 23, 2022, 5:34pm #1 Is there any effort towards making D2 coop for consoles? I'd absolutely love to play with family members like that! I hope developers bring some thoughts about it… Home FAQ/Guidelines
Indeed, fans must go through Blizzard's servers in order to join up with a friend, and that may be slightly disappointing to players that were looking for a couch co-op game.
In Diablo 2: Resurrected you can fight cooperatively against monsters as well as let your characters compete against each other in PvP. Unlike in Diablo 3, however, couch co-op with split screen is not supported. Multiplayer on PC On the PC, the multiplayer is organized in lobbies, as in the 20-year-old original. Will Diablo 2: Resurrected Add Local Co-Op? While Diablo 2: Resurrected does not have local co-op at launch, there's always the chance Blizzard could add the feature in a future update. So there's no reason this game that is designed to suit the present generation to not adopt the local coop feature! I really hope Blizzard implements it soon or add it to development backlog after beta/release. See you all in Hell! EDIT: It was pointed that the biggest problem is the UI.

So we want to start a co-op game to see how far we can make, while fun is much more important than competition. I did some research on the topic, but the results were a bit overwhelming and some were on old versions. So I world be really thankful for some beginner friendly tips.
